A premium quality hand spliced mooring rope made from polyester 3-strand rope. Complete with a spliced in hard eye formed with a heavy duty hot dipped galvanised thimble on one end and a 200mm spliced in soft eye on the other end of the rope. 3 Strand Polyester is strong, nice to handle and is an ideal mooring rope.

Please note: If using on a swinging mooring careful attention is needed. A 3-strand rope has a natural lay/twist to the rope - if the rotation of the boat on it's mooring is against the twist of the rope 'cockling' can occur where the strands are opened up and the splice can become loose and possibly fail. For swinging moorings we recommend either attaching a swivel to the line or using an 8-strand rope, please see our range of 8-strand strops. 8-strand does not have a twist or natural lay and can rotate freely.
